If you're really building relationships, you're not simply having people go to previews on the web and then trainings on the web. Don't get me wrong - those tools have their place. I've been chatting on Yahoo messenger recently and have found some interesting stuff. There are people who are out there simply trying to get you to come to one of their trainings or their previews of their business. Many [though not all] don't realize that they're not treating you like a person. They've been trained in a system [not NECESSARILY a bad thing] that keeps pushing people through the system and because they're so focused on getting people to meetings and trainings and presentations online or on the phone, they don't have time to really treat you like a person and develop true relationship.
